Jets' Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum will star in 'CSI: New York' episode
Jets coach Rex Ryan and general manager Mike Tannenbaum will shoot a scene for the CBS show "CSI: New York" on Wednesday in downtown Los Angeles.
Ryan, who was hired by Tannenbaum two years ago, will appear with his boss, as well as actors Gary Sinise and Eddie Cahill. Cahill and Sinise are regular cast members.
The episode is expected to air this spring.
Ryan is not the first Jets coach to appear on a popular television show.
In 2007, Eric Mangini, then the head coach, made a cameo in The Sopranos. Tony Soprano, the main character, referred to the coach as "Mangenius."
